Hey, I'm Alex.

A Twin Cities-based UX designer and user researcher.

I entered the world of UX in 2010 through interactive maps and haven’t looked back since. I help organizations, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, better understand the people they wish to serve and identify new opportunities to improve those relationships. I also try to share my love of design through teaching research, interaction design, and more.

Lots of my experience in UX has been around creating tools for employees (internally & externally) and in the healthcare space (from admission to billing and from patient to clinicians). Though I enjoy exploring new spaces, user groups, and experiences. My Masters in Human-Computer Interaction has helped me research and design for even the most complex and messy of problems (which I prefer).

When I am not doing design, you will find me biking around the Twin Cities.

MORE ABOUT ME

Travel is an important part of who I am. It helps my understanding of the world, creativity, and ability to empathize.

The countries that are in black are ones I have been to. The grey ones are the one I have left to explore. Let me know if I am missing any places you recommend.
